In 2014, Professor Chandra K. Jaggi established the Association of Inventory Academicians and Practitioners (AIAP) in New Delhi, India. The primary goal of this organization is to create a dynamic forum that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and techniques among researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and scientists in the realm of Inventory Management and related disciplines. AIAP is committed to broadening horizons by fostering the sharing of insights and the application of innovative approaches. AIAP holds a prominent position as a society dedicated to the advancement of Inventory Control and Management in India. By promoting research, education, and practical implementations of inventory management principles, the society plays a pivotal role in enhancing both industrial practices and the theoretical foundations supporting the field. • School of Quantitative Science: As part of our commitment to education and research, we aspire to establish a School of Quantitative Science. This institution will provide training, foster fundamental and applied research, and contribute to skill development and employment generation.

• Non-Profit Orientation: All our activities are carried out on a "Not for Profit" basis. Our primary goal is the advancement of knowledge, education, and research in the field of inventory control and management.
• Ethical Utilization of Resources: The income, earnings, movable, and immovable properties of the society are solely directed towards the fulfillment of our stated objectives. No part of these resources is used for personal gain or profit.
